Idealist Gather to Share Thoughts
Saturday, March 3rd 2018 3:00pm to 5:00pm

Our 2018 season theme is pollination and collaboration so we invite you to attend a gathering in our boathouse for the first Idealist Day

Join in with our Cards Against Humanity game or bring a game you enjoy, like  Scrabble, Chess, Jenga, a jump rope, anything that makes you think or laugh.  Come alone or bring one of the twenty people you’d take with you if you had to spend a couple of years on a desert island.  Dredgers will attend to discuss how we might help turn your ideas into programs affiliated with our works or you may enlist others in the room to collaborate with your independent adventures.

The Dredgers were founded by volunteers almost 20 years ago because many of us were working for income that we needed to support our families or payoff student debt.  In NYC, jobs may pay well but often work we are paid to do is not improving our planet so we encourage you to consider embracing a life of volunteering as well.  Please join us on this special day to discuss, debate and hopefully, be inspired to do great work on our shoreline, your shoreline or somewhere else.  Together, we can make a difference and the rewards can be stunning!
